CSX tracks may be route to commuter rail’s future

“CSX would sell the rail rights of way to the Florida Department of Transportation. Only the railroad’s Clearwater subdivision, the east-west line, and the Brooksville subdivision, the north-south line, would be involved. The railroad’s line that moves down Polk Street to South Tampa and its lines running toward Port Tampa Bay and Polk County and beyond would not be included.” See More . . .
