County demands judge ban Uber from Hillsborough

“Attorneys for the county’s Public Transportation Commission want Judge Paul Huey to agree Uber drivers ignore county regulations by not seeking the type of licenses and checks expected of taxi and limo services. The commission is required to regulate services like Uber and rival Lyft, which are akin to other forms of public transportation, said Brad Kimbro, a Tampa attorney with Holland & Knight representing the county.” See More . . .
